Winter is fast creeping over the horizon and if the farmer's are right, we're all set for a pow-heavy winter courtesy of the snow gods. Which if you're like me means you're already getting a mega froth on at the prospect of going riding soon! Owing to an injury this year (ruptured ATFL ligament in my ankle) I couldn't go snowboarding last season so have been working extra hard on specific workouts and training. I am now bringing this bespoke winter shred mega-rad and fun workout to you guys!
I've tailored an extremely specific workout, geared at getting your body in optimum condition for winter shred, whether it's snowboarding or skiing. Focusing on boosting the key components critical to these sports, we will be looking at the following during the session:
-Strength and Power
-Agility and flexibility, balance and coordination
-Decreasing the risk of injury
-Shred harder, longer, land those tricks!!
My rad friends over at Quiksilver and Roxy will be hosting us in their insane digs on Brick Lane. Full details below:
DATE: 6th October
LOCATION: Quiksilver Showroom, 91 Brick Lane (2nd Floor)
TIME: Arrive 7:15pm for a 7:30pm start. One hour workout, 15 minutes stretch, followed by drinks and a tour of the Quiksilver, DC and Roxy Showroom. Around 1:45 minutes in total.
PRICE: £15 pre-pay via PayPal
INCLUDED: One hour workout plus 15 minute stretching, a free drink (beer or peanut butter banana protein drink, made by moi)
