Sophie Everard

Sophie has dedicated her career to amplifying the business, participation, coverage and storytelling of women in sport the last 16 years. A journalist with over 13 years’ experience has seen Sophie contribute to international titles including I-D, Grazia, Dose Magazine, Cooler & Surf Girl, and is the published author of a book on snowboarding (Snowboarding: skills, training & Techniques) through Crowood Press. Sophie is the women’s editor at Wavelength Surf Magazine and the host of the Drop In Sessions podcast, an awesome podcast covering women in sport.

Sophie has worked for a number of the world’s biggest sports brands, having been PR Manager at Oakley, Head of PR & Entertainment at New Era, and as the founder of Mad To Live.Mad To Live is a brand founded by Sophie, rooted in experiencing how empowering a life immersed in adventure, travel, surf, outdoor sports & creative play are, mentally and physically, and by going at life full of energy and fire, fuelled by the bonds of meaningful female friendships.

Mad To Live comprises the digital platform where content is centred around the nucleus of promoting a positive, modern message of female empowerment with original content. Sophie has worked with leading brands on meaningful content creation including The North Face, Chanel, Tag Heuer, Nike, Swiss Tourism, Visit California, Vita Coco and more.
